第二波疫情来袭！特鲁多：已做好准备
总理特鲁多警告，加拿大正处在一个“十字路口”，因为部分病例激增，秋天疫情形势不容小觑，很可能比今年年初那波疫情还要凶猛。
自3月份疫情在加拿大爆发以来，整个国家进入经济和社会停顿状态，当时每天仅报告几十例新病例。现在，疫情比那时候严重的多。特鲁多表示：“毫无疑问，阿省、BC省、安省和魁省这四个省份正处于第二波新冠疫情之中......”
他表示，“这是我们每个人都不想听到的新闻，可能无法改变今天或明天的确诊病例数，但是可以试着改变10月和整个冬季的疫情形势。虽然感恩节无法自由聚会，也许圣诞节有机会。”
“大流行已经夺走加拿大约9200人的生命，尽管前景严峻，但我们依然要采取必要的措施来遏制病毒的传播。”
“我相信我们有能力对抗第二波疫情，因为我们已经经历过一次，已经积累了足够多经验。每个人都需要待在家里，为控制疫情贡献自己的一份力量。”
安省开放60家药房检测
据680新闻报道，省府周五宣布，增加60家药房检测。对于无症状的省民将能够在本周末在指定药房接受检测。省政府希望通过此举扩大检测范围，并减少检测中心检测者等待时间过长的问题。Doug Ford表示，将有多达60家药店可以在预约后提供检测。后续，将有超过150家药房在未来几周内提供检测。“我们需要像注射流感疫苗一样，使检测变得更加容易。接种流感疫苗很容易，必须确保进行检测同样容易。”
